Submittals include pre-construction administrative documents, such as bonds, insurance certificates, permits, and schedules; construction methods, procedures, product data, samples, and shop drawings for materials and equipment; and close-out documents including warranties, commissioning reports, operations & maintenance manuals, lien waivers and consent of surety. Submittals are prepared, collected, organized and transmitted to the Owner and/or Architect to confirm compliance with the contract requirements.
